Denis is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He qualified with PwC for whom he worked in Newcastle, Calgary and London. Later he became national marketing partner, then Yorkshire regional managing partner with Baker Tilly (now RSM). At Williams Investment Management LLP he has roles in business strategy and finance. As an accountant he gained a clear understanding of the ways in which professional advisers want to work with their clients’ investment managers and the importance of trust in those relationships.
